There was a problem.
Green Living Project makes films that educate, inspire and entertain through authentic and diverse stories from around the world. The problem was that their current website was not exactly telling their own story.
I helped solve it.
The actual problem here was a lack of clarity and content organization. Were they a nonprofit? Are they a film company? Do they do events? Questions like this were not getting answered. Through direct copy and calculated layout choices, I intended to be very clear about who their audience is and what they want to tell them. The bottom line was that they are a film production company, and they want potential clients to hire them. As a sort of ‘icing on the cake’ for their clients, they also offer marketing, branding, events services, and education programs for kids.
Taking all of this into account, I based the design on discussions with GLP making sure that every piece of content (videos, events, programs) was highly tagged, categorized, and cross-linked. This allowed users to find the content they wanted easily and also drive them to other related areas and services.
